We exist to show God’s love through interactive storytelling, songs, crafts and play.
For our preschool and kindergarten aged children, the message of God’s love is presented through a chronological Bible curriculum. Kids can make friends, learn the Bible stories, worship Jesus and memorize Bible verses all in a safe, engaging environment. They meet in the yellow Explorer room.
For our nursery, infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for and played with in a clean, safe environment.

Here your child will receive a name tag and appropriate room assignment. If you have any questions when you arrive, you can find a friendly face at the KidMin Check-In desk.

Safety is a primary concern for our nursery, prek/kinder and kids programs. All our volunteers are screened and have completed a background check. We use a computer generated check-in system that prints a nametag number for you and your child. To ensure safety at dismissal, children are only released to the adult who shows the receipt with the numbers that match the numbers on the child’s name tag.
My name is Debra Chapman. I am married and have a 6 year old son named Michael. I have been a school teacher for 26 years. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd grades, and am now a STEM teacher for Northside ISD. I have also taught Sunday School for children ranging from 5-8 at my previous church. Lesson 9.2: Jesus Goes to Heaven
After Jesus rose from the dead, he spent forty days with His followers.Then, right before their eyes, He ascended into Heaven! But He didn’tleave us alone. He sent His Holy Spirit to be with us always and to giveus everything we need to follow Him!
COLOR HOP
Supplies: Color Cards (1 set), tape (1 roll)
Preparation: Tape the four different color cards on the floor in a square formation. Leave about 1 foot between each card.
Directions: Tell the children they have to follow you and do what you do. Begin by hopping on one of the color cards, then hop off. The children will have to do the same. Next, hop on two colors, then hop off. For example, red, then green. The children will follow. Next, hop on three colors, then hop off. For example, red, then green, then yellow. Continue adding a color until the children can no longer remember the sequence. If necessary, you can hop on the same color multiple times during a sequence.Say:You did a great job following me and doing what I did.Today we’re going to talk about following some one very important. Who do you think it is?(Children respond.)That’s right—it’sJesus!Jesus says, “Follow me!”
